Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Orange Hinge collects when you use Orange Hinge Sites, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Business details you give us, or that are published on a website you ask us to start from: your business name, services, hours, address, phone, email, photos, logo and customer reviews.
• Your contact details: name, email and mobile number, used to set up your account, verify it is you and reach you.
• Payment information, which is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Messages sent through your site. When someone fills in the contact form on a site we host, we receive their name, contact details and message so we can deliver it to that business's CRM.
• Technical information: a one-way scrambled form of your IP address to prevent abuse, cookies that keep you signed in, and a note in your browser of the link you arrived through.

How we use it

• To build, host and improve your website and run your CRM.
• To verify sign-ins, process payments and send you service messages, such as sign-in codes, launch notices and reminders to finish setting up your site.
• To prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service secure.
• To understand which of our outreach and pages work, in aggregate.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the service, and share only what each needs:

• Stripe, for payments.
• HighLevel (LeadConnector), which powers the CRM.
• Supabase, for our database and file storage.
• Vercel, which hosts the websites.
• Resend, for email, and Twilio, for text message codes.
• AI model providers, through OpenRouter, to read your current website and write your site's text.
• Google, for address lookup.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our customers and the service.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you verification codes and messages about your site. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Sites we host for businesses

When a visitor contacts a business through a site we host, we handle their information on behalf of that business, which decides how to respond to and follow up with them.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes.

Your choices

You can update your details in your portal, or email hello@orangehinge.com to ask for a copy of your information or to have it deleted. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Orange Hinge Sites is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know by email.
